Centrifuges designed for the demands of the reference lab

At Drucker Diagnostics, we understand the critical role that outreach reference labs play in patient care. Maintaining specimen integrity between collection at the outreach site and analysis in the central lab is a challenge. Delayed centrifugation and poor gel barrier formation due to fixed-angle centrifugation can skew results or render specimens unusable. Poor results and unusable specimens require re-draws, which are costly, inefficient, and a nuisance to both staff and patients alike.

That’s why we’ve designed our centrifuges to meet the specific needs of reference labs like yours—ensuring that your workflow is optimized for peak performance. Our simple controls and carefully selected presets provide easy repeatability so specimens are prepared correctly every time.

A note on horizontal vs. fixed angle centrifugation

Fixed-angle centrifuges, although less expensive, produce gel layers that may be susceptible to rupture during transport. These damaged samples cannot be used without an additional centrifugation step; yet, the CLSI recommends against re-centrifugation due to its known negative effects on analytical results.

For better gel layer formation, please consider horizontal centrifugation with one of the 642 Models. The 642 Models utilize patented horizontal rotor technology to reduce blood processing times by 33% while guaranteeing reproducibility, regardless of location.

Centrifuge quality you can trust

Experience the best in reliability and durability. Drucker Diagnostics hospital centrifuges minimize downtime due to equipment failure or cleaning, allowing you to focus on patient care. Every unit is backed by a standard two-year warranty.

The best supported centrifuges in the healthcare industry

All Drucker Diagnostics centrifuges are designed, built, and support in the USA. Our customer service and technical support teams are located in Central Pennsylvania and are always just a phone call away.

Simple controls for easy operation

Our centrifuges are designed with simplicity in mind. With user-friendly controls and preset options, your team can quickly and efficiently process specimens without the need for extensive training.

This ensures consistency in every spin, reduces the risk of user error, and keeps your lab running smoothly.

Spin samples on-the-go with our mobile centrifuge

The 642M facilitates efficient routes and longer range for mobile phlebotomists
by providing in-vehicle centrifugation. Spin specimens within two hours of draw and run the most convenient route without needing to return to the central lab.

Powered directly from a vehicle’s 12V electrical supply, the 642M provides horizontal centrifugation for high quality gel tube separation and two-button operation for maximum repeatability.
